Remembrance Day was established eleven years ago and renewed the memory of January 27, 1945 when were shot down the gates of the concentration camp at Auschwitz. Shoah in Hebrew, meaning "annihilation," a barbaric destruction that wiped out if they were batteries of animals over six million Jews by the Nazis. The Jewish community prefers this term "holocaust", which could give the idea of \u200b\u200ba religious sacrifice. In the various trials of Nazi leaders for crimes against humanity is almost never addressed the question of their extermination. Starting from early March of that year were recorded regularly transport of Gypsies from the occupied territories, so that in a short time is exceeded the limit of capacity: 10 thousand people. The Gypsies were treated, then, to the Jews in racial theory and consequently also to the treatment: the deportation and the Final Solution. It was only in 1980 that Germany recognizes the dignity of their victims, claiming they had suffered during the Nazi regime, a racial persecution. It was not until 1995 that official records for the first time in an international conference, the genocide of the Gypsies.
