Journey Pilgrimage to the extermination camps


During the meetings will address the topics of the program by reading meaningful texts, analysis of films and documents, the debate on the issues.

Participants

The course is open through voluntary registration, students of the Liceo Statale "E. Fermi "who attend the various courses of the last three years these institution. The number of students of the course will be 28 members. After registration, will be given to the students who attended the course "to learn the Shoah " held last school year in preparation for the trip organized by the Tuscany Region and the Provinces of Tuscany at Auschwitz called "Train Memory "in January and February 2007 in attended by eight students of this institute

Initiatives related

By the time you will have the course, around the date of January 27, 2008, "Memorial Day", a meeting is planned for students of classes V with a witness of the events.

At the end of the course involves student participation in the initiative "Pilgrimage to the extermination camps" organized annually dall'ANED of Pisa in May and involves the visit to the German camps in Austria and southern Germany who were among the main destinations for Italian deportees. To achieve this the project will be requested funding to public entities and foundations.
